Furniture Maker
You look at a technical drawing and already see how a piece of furniture will go together. With your craftsmanship, you turn loose materials into a bespoke interior that is right to the millimetre.

What you'll make
As a furniture maker, you work independently from technical drawings. You keep an eye on dimensions, choose the right way of working and make sure every part is finished neatly and on schedule. Your work includes:
- Making and assembling bespoke furniture and interior components
- Reading, assessing and applying technical drawings
- Sawing, milling, drilling, gluing, sanding and finishing
- Working with sheet material, solid wood, fittings and other materials
- Adjusting and fitting hinges, locks and hardware
- Working with a range of woodworking machines
- Checking dimensions, quality and finish
- Spotting and solving technical issues
- Coordinating with engineering, work planning and the machining department
- Thinking along about smarter production methods and practical improvements
You work mainly in our well-equipped joinery workshop, with professional tools, an extensive machine park and experienced colleagues around you.
